Prospect Report: Odelius, Berg, Jefferies & Poitras

Hello Everyone, Good news / bad news for the New York Islanders. The bad news is that 2022 2nd rounder LD Calle Odelius, who I’ve got ranked the #9 Isles’ prospect, broke his ankle recently when competing for his Swedish pro team and is expected to be out for three months. The good news is that a pair of its prospects, Cameron Berg (University of North Dakota) & Alex Jefferies (Merrimack College), each are contributing crucial points for their respective teams, with Jefferies already tallying 14 points (7G 7A) in just 8 games. Good news for Boston fans too, as 2022 second-rounder Matthew Poitras has exceeded expectations in his quick rise to the NHL. Poitras has 11 points (5G 6A) in 22 games for the Bruins this season.
