Attached is an article by THN discussing some of the top European prospects for next summer’s draft. North American hockey fans are in for a real treat by having the opportunity to watch many of these players compete for a full season, notably Czech center Adam Benak (Youngstown in the USHL) and Swedish winger Filip Ekberg (Ottawa in the OHL). I would like to add to this list of outstanding players by including Swedish center Milton Gastrin . His performance at this year’s Hlinka Gretzky Cup (10 points [3G 7A] in 5 games) definitely showcased his playmaking ability and strong two-game. He is currently listed as a late first-rounder or second rounder in rankings I have seen, but given his size (6’1″, 183 lbs.) and mobility at the center position his climb in the rankings seems very likely.
