ASU’s Verbal Commitment to Major Junior Player First of Its Kind

Attached is an ESPN article detailing Arizona State’s efforts to add current WHL player Braxton Whitehead to its roster for the 2025-26 season. This comes shortly after the filing of a lawsuit in US federal court seeking to end the ban on CHL players from competing for an NCAA club, which I posted about earlier this week.
