Arizona State University Hockey Recruiting Some Top-Flight Prospects

Forward Landon Hafele of the U.S. National Team Development Program recently committed to Arizona State University for next season. Hafele, who currently is the 58th-ranked prospect by Elite Prospects for the 2026 draft, will join projected 2025 first-rounder Cullen Potter in competing for the Sun Devils. Also joining Potter next season will be current Regina Pat Braxton Whitehead. Whitehead was a point-per-game player for the Pats in 2023-24, and has 12 points (3G 9A) in 18 games for the Pats so far this season.

These players are an impressive haul for the young program. Also, this is a prime example of the potential impact CHL alum will have on making many more collegiate programs very competitive very quickly.
