Numerous Prospects Getting Exposure at the NHL Level

Please see attached article by The Hockey News regarding top-flight prospects currently in the NHL, primarily due to injuries to established NHLers. Those prospects include Washington’s Ivan Morishnichenko, Toronto’s Nikita Grebenkin & Fraser Minten (Minten recently returned from injury also), San Jose’s Yaroslav Askarov, and Utah’s Jaxson Stauber. Of particular note is Askarov’s recent performance at the AHL level. He has posted a record of 6-3-0 with a .939 save percentage so far this season. Stauber is not far behind Askarov, posting a record of 5-2-0 record and .930 save percentage with Tuscon this year.
