After Penn State eliminated the University of Maine from the NCAA tournament this past weekend, Maine forward Taylor Makar signed a one-year ELC with the Avalanche. The contract for Makar, younger brother of Avs star D-man Cale Makar, will begin in the 2025-26 season. He will be with the Colorado Eagles on an amateur tryout contract for the remainder of this season.
