4/2/25: MSU & University of Michigan Hockey Retain Top Prospects Augustine & Hage; MSU’s Howard Still Unsigned at Least for Now

Michigan State goaltender Trey Augustine (DET 2nd round, 41st overall in 2023) and University of Michigan forward Michael Hage (MTL 1st round, 21st overall in 2023) will resume their in-state battle for their respective schools in 2025-26, as both are returning to college hockey. Spartan forward Isaac Howard (TBL 1st round, 31st overall in 2022) remains unsigned, although this appears to be driven by TBL’s salary cap issues & Howard’s desire to join the big club right away.
