Tampa Bay has signed left-shot d-man Ryan McDonagh to a three-year contract extension with an AAV of $4.1 million. The extension runs through the 2028-29 season, as do the contracts of key Lightning players Victor Hedman and Nick Paul. Other cornerstone pieces include goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy and forward Nikita Kucherov, who are signed through 2027-28 and 2026-27, respectively.
