12/16/25: Red Wings Forward Prospect Solomon Thrives in Draft+1 Season

For Detroit fans, a Wings prospect to be excited about welcoming to the professional ranks in a few seasons is forward Brent Solomon (2025 draft pick, 4th round 109th overall). Solomon has 26 points (11G 15A) in 23 games for the USHL’s Sioux Falls Stampede, and has the versatility to be used in all-situations. Additionally, the Minnesota native tallied 6 points (4G 2A) in 5 games at last week’s 2025 Junior A World Challenge in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, helping Team USA win the gold medal in that event. He is committed to attending second-ranked University of Wisconsin in the fall, and I look for him to occupy a roster spot on Team USA’s World Junior Team next winter.
