1/11/26: STL & BOS Extend Broberg & Aspirot

St. Louis d-man Phillip Broberg (EDM 2024 draft, 1st round 8th overall) inked a six-year, $48 million extension with the Blues on Saturday, which will commence with the 2026-27 season. Later that day, Broberg sustained an upper-body injury early into the Blues matchup with the Vegas Golden Knights. He is listed as day-to-day. Currently, Broberg is in the final year of a two-year, $9.16 million contract.

Also, Boston d-man Jonathan Aspirot signed a two-year extension with the Bruins with an annual cap hit of $887,500. Aspirot has tallied two goals and one assist in 25 games this season for the Bruins.
