Last week, projected 2026 first round pick Tynan Lawrence left the USHL’s Muskegon Lumberjacks to compete for Boston University for the remainder of this season. This week, Philadelphia d-man prospect Carter Amico (PHI 2025 draft, 2nd round 38th overall) left Boston University to compete for Muskegon for the rest of 2025-26.
The 6’5″ 225 pound Amico’s departure presumably will greatly enhance his playing time, as he was receiving a mere 6:40 of ice time per night with the Terriers. Amico, who was with the USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program the past two seasons, did not register a point in 18 contests with the Terriers this season. He sustained a knee injury early last season which cost him most of his draft year.
