The NHL draft is upcoming (July 23 and 24), and will be sure to influence the immediate future of those taken in the annual selection. Which junior leagues (and European professional leagues, in some cases) were most prominent in the 2020 draft? The following list provides details on this topic, and is in descending order beginning with leagues having the most players selected. While the USHL leads all leagues in draft picks, please note that, when combined, Canadian junior leagues continue to lead the way in producing NHL prospects.
