Attached is the 2026 top ten draft prospects list by Craig Button. In watching the 2017 U17 World Challenge last week, I am totally on board with the first three picks. This is especially true of center Mathis Preston, who I felt was neck and neck with Landon DuPont as the best players in the tournament. Also, I feel it would be appropriate to include Swedish forward Marcus Nordmark as an honorable mention, in addition to Team USA forward Casey Mutryn as such. Nordmark was 5th-ranked Viggo Bjorck’s line mate at the world challenge, and was a major contributor to Sweden’s offense. Nordmark has 18 points (9G 9A) in 10 games for his Djurgardens U18 team this season, and had 8 points (5G 3A) in 4 games at the world challenge.
