Please note that, with respect to the three CHL leagues (the OHL, the QMJHL & the WHL) fifteen prospects are reviewed from the OHL; only ten from the other two major junior leagues, as well as the NCAA, are reviewed. Also, the last attachment is an article by The Hockey Writers stating Detroit goaltending prospect Rudy Guimond of the QMJHL (and one of the QMJHL’s top prospects this season, as discussed in the second attachment) is not likely to make the NHL. With a 12-0 record and .948 SVP in the “Q,” together with the size (6’3″) NHL teams covet, I disagree with this evaluation. With Cossa and Augustine ahead of him on the depth chart, it is likely he will not end up in Detroit. However, there will be no shortage of league-wide interest in him if and when he comes on the market.
