6/26/25: Florida Trades Top Prospect to Washington for Draft Picks

Florida has traded top forward prospect Justin Sourdif (FLA 2020 3rd round, 87th overall) to Washington in exchange for a Capitals’ 2nd round pick in 2026 and a sixth round pick in 2027. Sourdif had 34 points (16G 18A) in 43 games for the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers in 2024-25.
