10/30/25: Dallas Stars Grant Long-term Extension to Harley

Yesterday I posted about the 8-year, $80 million extension Utah gave to Logan Cooley recently. I neglected to mention a very similar extension given by the Dallas Stars to D-man Thomas Harley (18th pick in 2019). Harley also received an 8-year deal beginning in 2026-27. His extension comes with an AAV of $10.587 million, and contains a no movement clause after the first three seasons. Harley will earn $4 million this year under his current deal.

The 24 year old Harley produced a career-high 50 points last season, and has averaged 23:07 of ice time per night so far this season. He has 8 points (1G 7A) in 10 contests so far in 2025-26, for a projected production rate of 65 points.
