After a 17-game stint in Edmonton ended with a demotion to Bakersfield, Oilers prospect Isaac Howard did nothing but fill the net with pucks for the Condors. For his efforts, the 21-year-old left-shot winger was recalled to Edmonton on January 2, and has appeared in one game for the Oilers.
During his time in Bakersfield, Howard totaled 23 points (10G 13A) in 16 games for the Condors, good for a per-game total of 1.44. Among the top 10 scorers in the AHL, no player has a higher point-per-game total. Sitting at 1.23 points per game is another Edmonton prospect, Quinn Hutson. Hutson’s productivity earned him a call-up along with Howard, although he has since been returned to Bakersfield.
