1/19/26: WSH Hoping Top Prospect Hutson is a Late-Season Addition

Washington would very much like to see Boston University d-man Cole Hutson in a Caps’ jersey sooner rather than later, yet are prepared for the possibility he will continue his college hockey career next season. Hutson has not disclosed whether or not he will turn professional at the conclusion of BU’s season, although he keeps in touch with the organization and it players on a near-daily basis. Statistically, Hutson is having an excellent year for the Terriers, with 23 points (8G15A) through 22 games so far this season. This follows up a freshman year in which he totaled 48 points (14G 34A) in 39 games in leading BU to the Frozen Four in St. Louis.
