Maryville University, located in St. Louis, MO., has announced it will field a D1 hockey team next season. The team will transition from a club program to a varsity program via a hybrid schedule, featuring roughly 20 D1 games in 2026-27. It will complete this transition by becoming a full-fledged varsity program in 2026-27. Its conference affiliation has not been announced.
