4/3/26: The Habs are Possible Front-Runners to Acquire Free Agent Hughes (University of Michigan)

As a huge Montreal fan and still a faithful social media follower of the team, word is that Michigan free agent forward TJ Hughes will sign with the Canadiens upon the conclusion of the Wolverines’ season. The outgoing 24-year-old senior, who hails from Hamilton, Ontario, recently was named a finalist for the Hobey Memorial Award. Hughes is the nation’s second-leading scorer with 56 points in 39 games.

Hughes and Michigan face the University of Denver in the NCAA national semifinals next Thursday.
