4/29/26: Near-Perfect Everett Advances to WHL Final Using High-Octane Scoring & Exceptional Goaltending

The Everett Silvertips have used their patented blend of highlight-reel scoring and superb goaltending to cruise through the first 3 rounds of the WHL playoffs, going 12-1 in the process. After a four-game sweep of first-year WHL club Penticton in the Western Conference finals, they will face the winner of Medicine Hat and Prince Albert in the championship series.

The Silvertips have the league’s top two playoff points and goal scorers in forwards Matias Vanhanen (2026 draft-eligible, #54 ranking) and Julius Miettinen (SEA). Vanhanen has 10 goals and 19 points thus far, with Miettinen at 10 and 18. Joining them points-wise in the top 5 is d-man Landon Dupont (2027 draft-eligible), with 17 points. Also, Dupont is tied with teammate Carter Bear (DET) for second-most playoff assists (13).

On the back-end sits goaltender Anders Miller (2026 2nd-year draft-eligible), who has been between the pipes for all of Everett’s 12 wins. In addition to leading the league in victories, Miller also is second in playoff goals-against-average (1.79) and save percentage (.936).
