Hockey Canada announced Thursday that Misha Donskov will serve as head coach of Canada’s National Men’s Team at the 2026 and 2027 world championships, and Canada’s National Junior Team at the 2027 world juniors. He is in the process of piecing together a coaching staff for these events.
Donskov served as an assistant coach of Canada’s gold-medal winning 4 Nations Faceoff Team, as well as its silver medalist Olympic team.
Donskov was born in Montreal, and was raised in the greater London area. He is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States.
