Tampa Bay has signed forward and penalty-killing specialist Ilya Mikheyev to a 4-year, $15.4 million ($3.85 AAV) contract. In addition to manning the PK, Mikheyev is expected to bring scoring depth to the Lightning. He is coming off a season where he posted 36 points (18G 18A) in 77 games for Chicago.
