Top 2027 Draft prospects Landon DuPont (University of Michigan) and Alexis Joseph (QMJHL’s Saint John Sea Dogs) headline Team Canada’s 27-man selection camp for the 2026 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, which will be played August 3-8 in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta. Among others, DuPont and Joseph will be joined by top 2028 draft prospects and Regina Pats (WHL) teammates Maddox Schultz and Liam Pue. Attached is the camp’s complete roster.
After helping lead the WHL’s Everett Silvertips to a league championship and runner-up finish at the 2026 Memorial Cup, DuPont committed to the University of Michigan for the upcoming season. A right-shot d-man and the projected first overall pick in 2027, DuPont finished the 2025-26 regular season with 73 points (18G 55A) in 63 games for the Silvertips, and tacked on an additional 23 points (5G 18A) in 18 playoff games.
Joseph poses the biggest threat to DuPont’s first overall standing. The 6’5″ pivot will return to a rebuilding Saint John squad this season, where he registered 60 points (24G 36A) in 54 games during his rookie year in the QMJHL.
Schultz and Pue are the only players invited to the camp with 2010 birth-years. After each playing the maximum-allowed 34 games for the Pats last season, both players are expected to return to Regina for the entire 2026-27 campaign.
