My ranking of the top 10 2026 Los Angeles Kings’ prospects is complete, and the link to this list is below. As expected from perhaps the league’s deepest goaltending pool, two of the top 5 ranked players on this list, being Carter George (57th overall in 2024) and Hampton Slukynsky (118th overall in 2023), occupy that position. Continuing with the defensive side of things, the #1 prospect in this pool is d-man Henry Brzustewicz (31st overall in 2025).
George and Slukynsky will join Brzustewicz this season in Ontario of the AHL, spending the entire season there prior to being in Los Angeles in 2027-28. Forward-wise, they will suit up with projected 2026-27 Kings’ call-ups Kenny Connors (103rd overall in 2022) and Martin Chromiak (128th overall). LA also has 2026 draft picks Elton Hermansson (19th overall) and Liam Lefebvre (46th overall) in the mix, with Hermansson continuing his development professionally in Sweden and Lefebvre with Cape Breton of the QMJHL. Hermansson projects as a top-6 NHL forward, while Lefebvre is viewed as a middle-6 option who also may develop top-6 skills.
