What an outstanding tournament this has been so far, with host Sweden undefeated (6-0-0-0) and having the most points overall. However, Canada also is undefeated, trailing Sweden in Group A but having a game in hand on them. Team Czechia, occupying 1st place in Group B, boasts two of the tournament’s top three scorers (Pastrnak & Cervenka). The 3rd leading scorer is Canada’s Nathan McKinnon with 10 points, although 4 players are nipping at his heels with 9 points apiece.
Switzerland and USA also are in the hunt, occupying 2nd and 3rd in Group B behind Czechia.
