3/13/26: Montreal Prospect Hage Shines for University of Michigan; Big 10 Hockey Semifinals Set

The University of Michigan used four assists from forward Michael Hage (MTL 2024 1st round, 21st overall), as well as a pair of goals from Carolina prospect Jayden Perron (2023 3rd round, 94th overall), to best the University of Notre Dame 6-1 in Big Ten Tournament action. The Wolverines will face Penn State University in semifinal action at 5 pm today in Ann Arbor. Top draft prospect Gavin McKenna assisted on PSU’s first two goals, and d-man Mac Gadowsky (son of head coach Guy Gadowsky) scored his first goal of the season in the Nittany Lions’ 6-2 victory over the University of Minnesota,

The other semifinal will pit regular season champ Michigan State University (who received a first-round bye) against Ohio State University. The Buckeyes used seven goals from seven different players to rout the University of Wisconsin 7-1 in the quarterfinals.
