Forward Felix Trudeau of Sacred Heart University signed a two-year entry-level contract with the St. Louis Blues yesterday. Trudeau’s contract carries with it an annual cap hit of $1,013,750, and will commence with the 2026-27 season. He will spend the remainder of 2025-26 with AHL Springfield on a professional tryout agreement (PTO).
Trudeau was named the Atlantic Hockey Association’s player of the year in 2025-26, posting 48 points (25G 23A) in 39 games. His goals total is second in the country, while his points total is tied for sixth nationally. Also, Trudeau is a top 10 candidate for the Hobey Baker Award.
Trudeau adds to the Blues’ steadily improving prospect pool, which routinely is ranked in the top half of the league. He joins top-ranked prospect Justin Carbonneau, currently a 50-goal scorer in the QMJHL.
Trudeau’s free agent signing is the first of note this spring, and certainly will be followed by numerous deals as the college season comes to its conclusion.
