London Knight forward Jaxon Cover has committed to Penn State University for the 2026-27 season. As London has been eliminated from playoff contention with a 4-1 round 1 defeat by the Soo Greyhounds, Cover’s days with the Knights have reached their conclusion. Cover will join d-man Jackson Smith (CBJ 2025, 1st round, 14th overall) for a Nittany Lions’ team coming off their second consecutive NCAA tournament appearance. Although Gavin McKenna (2026 draft prospect) has three years of college eligibility remaining, most likely he will turn professional next season.
