5/10/26: OHL Brantford Teammates O’Brien (SEA), Jiricek (STL) & Luchanko (PHI) Taste Pro Playoff Hockey

Seattle forward prospect Jake O’Brien (18th overall in 2025) will follow the lead of d-man and Brantford teammate Adam Jiricek (STL) by joining the AHL for the remainder of 2025-26. Jiricek just helped lead Springfield to a stunning upset of Providence to catapult them to the AHL’s Atlantic Division finals. O’Brien looks to have that same positive effect for Coachella Valley in the Pacific Division. O’Brien is coming off an OHL postseason in which he posted 23 points (6G 17A) in 15 games for the Bulldogs.

Fellow Bulldog teammate Jett Luchanko (PHI) appeared for the Flyers in game 4 NHL action against Carolina. Now that Phildelphia’s season has concluded, and Luchanko was not named to Canada’s World Championship roster, it appears his season also is complete.
