Left-shot forward/d-man Maxim Groshev signed a two-year contract extension with Tampa Bay today, commencing with the 2026-27 season. The deal has an annual cap hit of $875,000, and carries with it no signing or performance bonuses.
The 24-year-old is regarded as a top 10 prospect in Tampa’s system due to his ability to play both the forward and d-man positions, his good size and skating ability, and physical play.
