6/24/26: BUF Trades A. Tuch to WSH in Sign-and-Trade Deal

In a sign-and-trade move, forward Alex Tuch has inked an 8-year, $84 million contract ($10.5 million annual cap hit) with Buffalo, then was traded to the Capitals. The Sabres received a 2026 3rd round pick in return. This was the second major trade Washington has entered into in as many days, as they acquired d-man Jordan Kyrou from St. Louis yesterday.
