Dallas dealt restricted free agent forward Mavrik Bourque to Nashville, who in turn signed a 6-year, $33 million ($5.5 million AAV) contract with the Predators. Dallas also sent d-man Ilya Lyubushkin to Nashville in the transaction, and in exchange received a 2027 2nd-round pick and a 2028 3rd-rounder.
The 24-year-old right-shot forward had 41 points (20G 21A) in his 2nd NHL season in 2026, nearly doubling his rookie totals. Nashville projects him as being a long-term member of its top-6 forward group.
