2027 draft-eligible forward Jamie Glance has signed on with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL, giving him the opportunity to compete with next year’s potential first overall pick Alexis Joseph. This is a nice get for a rebuilding Saint John team, as he led the US National Team Development Program (NTDP) in scoring this past season with 82 points (35G 47A) in 87 games. He is committed to attending Boston University in 2027-28.
With Glance’s commitment to play in the QMJHL next season, each of the three CHL leagues has an NTDP alumni in its ranks. Goaltender Harrison Boettiger will suit up with the WHL’s Kelowna Rockets prior to attending the University of Denver in 2027-28. Also, goaltender Brady Knowling will spend 2026-27 between the pipes for the OHL’s Saginaw Spirit, prior to joining Glance at BU in 2027-28.
