Veteran forward Claude Giroux reportedly will re-sign with Ottawa following a brief stint on the free agent market. There is no word yet on the terms of the contract. Giroux played last year on a one-year deal with a cap hit of $2 million, and having an AAV of $4.75 million when factoring in performance bonuses.
