7/23/26: Kane Returns to Chicago on Two-year Deal

Today Chicago signed unrestricted free agent forward Patrick Kane to a two-year, $16 million ($8 million AAV) contract beginning this coming season, which contains a full no-movement clause. The franchise legend and three-time Stanley Cup champion reunites with the organization where he spent the first 16 years of his NHL career.

The reunion brings the highest-scoring American-born player in NHL history back to the Blackhawks following a three-year hiatus, playing for the New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings. Kane has 1,400 points (508G 892A) in 1,369 regular-season games.
