Calgary forward prospect Ethan Wyttenbach is returning to Quinninpiac University in 2026-27 for his sophomore season. A 5th-round pick in 2025, Wyttenbach has rapidly ascended the Flames’ depth chart during 2025-26, where he led the nation in scoring with 59 points (25G 34A) in 40 games for the Bobcats. For his efforts, Wyttennbach recently was named a top 10 candidate for the prestigious Hobey Baker Trophy as college hockey’s best player.
Anaheim forward prospect Roger McQueen (2025 1st round, 10th overall) is expected to sign an entry-level contract with the Ducks. Also, the deal is expected to begin in 2026-27, and he will play the rest of this season with AHL affiliate San Diego on an amateur tryout agreement. McQueen was named Rookie of the Year in the East Coast Athletic Conference in registering 27 points (11G 16A) in 36 games for the Providence College Friars.
