4/13/26: Reinbacher (MTL) Makes NHL Debut; Nesbitt (PHI) Commits to University of Michigan; Draper (DET) Reports to AHL Grand Rapids

Montreal d-man prospect David Reinbacher (2023 1st round, 5th overall) made his NHL debut last night. The 21-year-old Austrian contributed an assist and a +1 rating in the Canadiens’ 4-1 victory over the New York Islanders. Reinbacher also tallied 24 points (5G 19A) in 57 regular season games with Laval of the AHL.

Forward Jack Nesbitt (PHI 2025 1st round, 12th overall) of Windsor in the OHL has committed to the University of Michigan for 2026-27. Nesbitt registered 58 points (25G 33A) in 55 regular season games this season for the Spitfires, and has 8 points (5G 3A) in 6 playoff games thus far.

Kienan Draper (DET), formerly of the University of Michigan, has reported to AHL Grand Rapids for the remainder of this season. Draper, currently on an amateur tryout agreement, also signed a two-year AHL contract with the Griffins, which will commence with the 2026-27 season.
