Yesterday, Ottawa forward Stephen Halliday signed a two-year contract extension with the Senators, which begins in 2026-27 and carries a cap hit of $1,075,000. In his rookie year of 2025-26, which was the last season of his entry-level contract, Halliday appeared in 30 games with the Senators, compiling 11 points (4G 7A) in mostly a fourth-line role. The 23-year-old once again is expected to compete for a bottom-six role in 2026-27, specifically as the Sens’ 4th-line pivot.
