The Vancouver Canucks have announced that Daniel and Henrik Sedin have been hired for the roles of Co-Presidents of Hockey Operations. The Sedins’ formerly were working in the Canucks’ player development department. Vancouver’s former President of Hockey Operations, Jim Rutherford, will remain with the team in an advisory capacity.
Also, the team has promoted previous Assistant General Manager to the role of General Manager. Johnson has been with the Canucks’ organization in various capacities since 2013, following an 18-year playing career in the NHL.
No decision has been made regarding the future of Head Coach Adam Foote.
