Tampa Bay Head Jon Cooper has won the 2026 Jack Adams Award as the NHL Coach of the Year. Despite being the longest-tenured bench boss in the league (14 seasons) and winning two Stanley Cups, this is the first time winning the honor.
In spite of numerous injuries to key players, he guided the Lightning to a 106-point (50-26-6) regular-season record, culminating in a third-place divisional finish and a playoff berth.
