Los Angeles reportedly is close to signing goaltending prospect Hampton Slukynsky (2023 4th round, 118th overall) and his free agent brother, Grant, to entry-level contracts. Hampton (20 years old) and Grant (24) both were members of last year’s national championship team at Western Michigan, as well as this year’s Final Eight team.
In his two seasons with the Broncos, Hampton compiled a record of 46-16-2, with save percentages of .922 (2024-25) and .915 (2025-26). Grant tallied 76 points (20G 56A) in 81 games for WMU. Also, Hampton won gold medals as a member of Team USA’s World Junior Championship & World Championship teams in 2024-25.
