4/17/26: AHL All-Rookie Team 2.0

Yesterday I wrote about Edmonton forward prospects Quinn Hutson and Isaac Howard being named to the AHL All-Rookie Team. The other prospects named to this elite group are all part of different organizations. Completing the forward line is Washington prospect Ilya Protas (64 points [28G 26A] in 67 games), who also has 4 points (1G 3A) with the Caps this season.

The two All-Rookie d-men are Seattle prospect Tyson Jugnauth (44 points in 70 games) and Utah’s Dmitri Simashev (35 points in 40 AHL games, also played 28 games for the Mammoth). Finally, the named goaltender is Pittsburgh prospect Sergei Murashov (23-8-4, .918 save percentage; 1-1-2 in 5 games with PIT).
