The OHL’s Owen Sound Attack have been sold to Ecological Dynamics Sports Partners (EDSP), led by Tyler Nother and Donald McClure. Nother is a former OHL player in Windsor, and was on the Spitfires’ Memorial Cup-winning team in 2017. He will focus on the player development side of the Attack organization, while McClure will use his extensive corporate experience to operate the business side of the franchise.
EDSP bought the Owen Sound franchise from its long-time owner, Dr. Bob Severs. It will have plenty of assistance from Severs in continuing to run the franchise, as he is staying with the club as Head of Business Operations.
