Game 1 (5/22): Kitchener 5, Kelowna 0 – The Rangers provided a dominant performance in the tournament’s inaugural game, outshooting the host Rockets 39-24 in the shutout win. The first star of this game was forward Jack Pridham (CHI), whose 2 points (1G 1A) and +2 player rating paced Kitchener in the victory. Also, OHL Playoffs MVP Sam O’Reilly (TBL) continued his scoring ways in adding a goal, and d-man Alexander Bilecki (49th-ranked skater in 2026 draft) registered two assists to augment an already excellent draft season. Finally, top d-man prospect Cameron Reid (NSH) once again anchored the blueline in registering an assist and logging heavy minutes in a shut-down role.
Game 2 (5/23): Everett 5, Chicoutimi 3 – Forward Jesse Heslop (free agent) led the way for Everett in this one with 2 points (1G 1A), scoring just over a minute into the game then stripping d-man Alexis Bernier (SEA) behind the Chicoutimi net then feeding forward Zackary Schantz (free agent) for the far-post tap-in. Also for Everett, prospective draftees Landon Dupont (2027) & Mattias Vanhanen (54th-ranked in 2026) both assisted on a goal scored by forward Carter Bear (DET). Vanhanen added an empty-net goal, giving him two points on the night. For Chicoutimi, the play of the night was the far-post, top-shelf goal scored by d-man Alex Huang (NSH), a premier goal-scorer’s goal.
