4/8/26: As WHL Playoffs Heat Up, So Does Penticton’s Kvasnicka (NYI)

Earlier I posted an article about Prince George goaltender Joshua Ravensbergen (SJS), in which I mentioned that the Cougars’ second-round opponent is Penticton. Attached is a link to that article.

In order for Prince George to get past the Vees, they will have to contend with forward Jacob Kvasnicka (NYI). A 7th-round Islanders’ pick a season ago, Kvasnicka broke out this year. He led the Vees in scoring with 85 points on 35 goals & 50 assists in the regular season. He has continued his productivity in the post-season, with 6 points (3G 3A) in his last 3 games, enjoying a 5-game point streak during a 4-1 series victory versus Seattle. He is fifth in the WHL playoffs in both points (9) and goals (5).
